What Does It Mean When You Dream About Snakes? (Biblical Meaning)

Snake dreams are almost always an attack. I saw a black snake crawling on me. I had a dream of both green and brown snake. The green snake was calm and not attacking us at all, but the brown immediately would pass by in front of my kitchen. It just started following us and is used to had to bite me back, and I had to protect my siblings. Another dream. Snake dreams always have warned me of people pretending to be my friend. I once dreamed about a a green snake, and it wasn't a good feeling. So I'm having a lot of you have reached out to me. I mean, my comments right now, I literally have hundreds hundreds of comments from different platform about snake dreams. And they've you've been saying to me, Matthew, can you create something about snake dreams? Help us to understand not just snake dreams, but dreams overall. And as someone that understands that we live in a supernatural world that's not visible, I understand about dreams. And I wanna help you today. Over the next ten days, I wanna help you to unpack the world of your dreams. When you're having certain type of dreams, what does that symbolize? What does that mean? What what should I do when I get dreams like that? And as a spiritual coach and adviser, I get tons of DMs. Matthew, I had a dream about this. I have a dream about that. I'm not sure what it means. I can't get into sleep. Since I had that last dream, I've been attacked. My finances have been attacked. My family's been attacked. This has been going wrong. So why is it happening? Now they're gonna tell you that dreams are just a part of your subconscious. Right? That it just happens. Maybe you probably ate something or or or, you know, you having a bad day or something like that. But dreams are part of the supernatural. In other words, that is one of the methods that is being used in the supernatural world to send messages to you. Now I wanna unpack this for you from a biblical standpoint because you need to understand why are you having what today, we're targeting snake dreams. I'm gonna cover different aspect because you need to understand what happens in the supernatural world, the world that you don't see that is more alive, is something that you need to pay attention to because that can affect you significantly in your personal life, significantly in your business, in your relationships. There are some of you. You've had dreams that ended up manifesting. Now I'm gonna talk about what do you do when you have dreams, and why do some dreams manifest, both good or bad, and and why does that happen? If you notice that you're getting a specific dream around a specific time of the year, you need to pay attention to that. But I wanna get on right now to help you to understand, about the snake dreams because this is one of the most requested, k, things that I get from you guys. So this is ten days of biblical dream interpretation. Snakes in your dream, what God may be showing you, and when is it warfare. Just because you have a snake dream doesn't always necessarily mean something is evil. Now I wanna unpack some of this. You woke up with your heart pounding. You searched it. 10 websites trying to get answers. Not every snake dream means the same thing. So just because you're having a specific type of snake dream does not mean that it's the exact same thing that is happening. And as you're going to learn, you can understand what that specific dream means. And share this with someone that's been having dreams about snakes, and they're not sure why they're having it. Now let's take a look at this. The meaning is in the details you are skipping. So when you begin to skip your dreams, when you begin to ignore them, you're missing something significant. You're missing something vital. You're missing something very important that you need to pay attention to. Now, the bible said this, be shrewd as snakes and innocent as dove, or be as wise as serpent and harmless as a dove. There's a reason for that. Now, the assumption that keeps you afraid is this, a snake in a dream means a demon is attacking me. When you are having dreams about snake, it does not always necessarily mean that a demon is attacking you. Let me be very clear. There are people that are teaching that every time you see a snake, it's a demon. Every time you see a snake, it's some type of demonic force that's just hovering over you. That is not biblical, and that is not correct. Now snakes carry meaning by their positions. So based on the position that the snake is, it has a meaning. By the action, what were they doing in that? Were they chasing you? Were they biting you? Were they attacking you? Were they laying on you? Were they crawling all over you? What were they doing? And by your response, I think this is one of the things that most people miss the most. The way that you respond to your snake dreams determines what happens next. It's vital. Your response determines what happens next. Now four questions before any interpretation. Okay? I wanna help you to understand this. Where was it? When you're having a snake dream, one of the first questions that you have to ask yourself is where was this dream? Was it in your house? Was it on on your bed? Was it on your path? Or was it in the water? Okay? You need to know where was it. The next question is what was it doing? Was it coiled? Was it striking? Was it biting? Was it speaking? Or was it fleeing away from you? There are times when you have a snake dream and the snake is just coiled in the corner. It's not doing anything. It's not attacking you. It's not coming after you, but it's just coiled in the corner. And sometimes you have a snake dream and the snake is attacking you, is striking you, or biting you. I've had people say to me, Matthew, I had a snake dream that a snake was biting me, and a snake was attacking me. A snake was crawling on me. A snake was speaking to me. Well, if a snake is speaking to you in a dream, what exactly does that mean? If a snake is fleeing from you, what does that mean? The third question you have to answer when you're having snake dreams is what did you do? Did you froze? Did you fight it? Did you run away from it, or did you wake up? So you're gonna do one of one of one of the things here. Okay? You're either going to just be frozen. In other words, maybe the snake is crawling on you, or you're in the bedroom and you see the snake, and you're frozen. Or sometimes you're fighting that snake. Other times you're running away from that snake. And sometimes you just wake up. And question number four, what's happening in your waking life? Dreams speaks to the season you are in. It's so vital that you understand this because it's not just about your subconscious mind. Dreams always speak to the season that you are in. So if you're going through a stressful time in your life, if you're going through hard times, if you're going through challenging times, if you're going through times when you're confused, you're not sure what's going on in your life, if you're going through transition, this is when you're gonna have dreams that will let you know this is the season of life that you are in, but most people ignore that. Now let's take a look. Where was the snake in your dream? Location is territory. Where the snake showed up in your dream mattered significantly, and I wanna help you to understand that. So typically, not all the time, your house points to family and household. Your bed points to intimacy, rest, and covenant. The road points to your direction and your calling. Water points to the deep places, what many call the marine kingdom, and that's a whole new teaching that I'm not gonna get into. Test that against the bible and not just what people may get out to be. K? So again, when you're having all these dreams, the location of that specific dream, you know, always matters. I've had people that have reached out to me. Matthew had a dream, you know, this one particular lady. Matthew had this dream, you know, I was wanting to, you know, date this guy. I was dating this guy, and for some reason, I kept seeing snakes around him. Every time, you know, I kept seeing snakes, I'm like, how often did that happen? She said, well, it's been happening for a while. You know, what do I do? You know? So when you're having those types of dream that you need to be able to pay attention to. We run straight to the snake and skip the room it was standing in. So what most people do is they'll have the snake dream, but they're not really paying attention to where was this particular snake. What room was it in? The snake tells you there's an enemy. The location tells you what it's aiming at. So when you are in a bedroom and you see a snake, the meaning is going to be different compared to if you are on the road and you're walking and you see a snake. Right? So, typically, when you're in a bedroom and you see a snake, there's something that has to do with intimacy. Now we're gonna cover that in just a moment. Our struggle, Ephesians six and twelve, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, or this version, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world. Was it moving toward you or away from you? Oh, excuse me. Talking about steak dreams. Excuse me. So was it move was it moving towards you, or was it moving the devil is a liar. I rarely ever choke on water. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Father, thank you. Just wanna take a moment just to pray. Lord, thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Man, thank you, Lord. Obviously, something doesn't want me to keep going over this. Thank you, Lord. So moving forward, was it moving towards you or away from you? Action is intent. Striking is active position or opposition now. Excuse me. So when a snake is striking, it's letting you know that you're more than likely dealing with an opposition that is happening right now. If it's cold and still is somewhat dormant, it's waiting. So most of the times when you see a snake that is striking you, is this can be a warning to let, excuse me, to let you know that you have an opposition that is active right now. They have already plotted something. They're planning something. Something is already in in the works, but it's it's already happening. And if you see one that is called, it's something that's just waiting. They're strategizing and planning something. If a snake if it's speaking to you, it's speaking deception, asking for your agreement. Excuse me. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. This is the first time I'm doing a video and I've had to I've had to deal with this. And just to let you know, this is just not a regular choke. Trust me. I know this is just not a regular choke, but we're moving forward. So a speaking snake is deception asking for your agreement. Fleeing is something losing its ground. So when you have a dream and you see a snake that's fleeting from you, they're running from you, most of the times just to let you know that you have the victory over that snake. Like, I've had dreams where I've had dreams where I see a snake and I'm chasing the snake, and the snake start to run. I've even had dreams drop. I took an object, and I was hitting the snake, and I've had dreams where I almost killed the snake, and then sometimes they'll just disappear. And a bite is a one that already landed. In other words, this can symbolize when you see a snake bite you in a dream. This can symbolize that it can be somebody's word, a betrayal, a hurt that you never took to God. So if you're having dreams and you constantly seeing snakes that are biting you, if the snakes are always attacking you and you're wondering why am I always getting attacked by a snake because that's letting you know that something has already happened that you haven't dealt with yet. Something, whether someone betrayed you, someone hurt you, someone wounded you, someone did something so deep to you, that pain is still there. And you haven't taken that pain back to God and say, I got betrayed. This happened. Something negative, I'm still holding on to that. So if if that's you, you need to go back to God and let him help you to deal with that. We treat every snake as an attack. So we pray warfare over what was only a warning. Okay? It's not every time you see a snake there. It's just always warfare, warfare, warfare. Now that sometimes is the warning so you can know how to prepare for what could come. A cold snake is information. A striking snake is an invitation to pray tonight. So let me say it again. If you're having a dream or you have recurring dreams that snakes have always been biting you or they're biting you every night, every two weeks, every month, Or if you have a dream that snake always biting you in a certain period of season in your life, that's to let you know something had already happened that needs to get dealt with. That is when you need to be able to pray. I've seen people lose business deals because snake bit them. I've seen people lose relationships because of a snake bite. I've seen people go through really rough times because of a snake bite in their dream. Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. Did you fight or did you freeze? When you are seeing these snakes, are you fighting them, or are you just frozen? Your response reveal your authority. Let me be very clear. You can have the worst dreams in the world. You can have the worst nightmares in the world. But what is going to have the biggest impact is how you respond to the supernatural. Most people that don't understand the supernatural world, they just ignore it. Well, it was just another dream. Well, sometimes weeks later, months later, years later, that same thing that you ignore as just a dream begin to manifest. It begins to happen. So don't ignore it. When you freeze, that means that fear still has a hold on you. Fear still has a say. When you run, you're avoiding something awake. Let me say it again. When you run from your snakes, you're avoiding something awake as well. When you fight and inflate, you're already walking in authority. Woke up instantly, God pulled you up to pray. So let's take a look and break these down so you understand how that relates to you. When you have a dream about a snake, if you freeze or if you're frozen or if you're froze, fear has control over you. If you run, you're avoiding something that's already been sent to come against you. What you wanna do is if you fought in a flat, that's to let you know that you have the victory. If you wake up from that, that is to let you know that God has pulled you out of something incredible. We ask what the snake meant and never once ask what we did. We have to be able to ask those questions. You are not the victim of your dream. You are the one carrying authority. As I just said, when you're having dreams, nightmares, whatever dreams that you're having, you have the authority to speak. When you're having negative dreams, you have the authority to cancel. That would not happen in the name of Jesus. I refuse to accept that. Most people get dreams, especially nightmares, and they just ignore it. Sometimes they cry. Sometimes they're they're so shaken that they don't know what to do, but you have to use your words when you have those dreams. Don't stay silent. Luke ten nineteen, I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy. Now what decision are you sitting on right now? Dreams speak to your season. Now this is key. You're gonna notice that there's certain dreams that happens on a recurring basis. If you're depressed, you have a season where you're depressed, you're sad, you're going through a lot of challenges, a lot of obstacles, you're not really sure, your dream is going to speak to that season. And most of the times, that is how God get your attention. Recurring snake dreams cluster around transition, a new relationship, a new job, a new move. So as you are having recurring dreams, this almost always symbolize that you're going through through a major transition in your relationship, in your new job, in a new location, in a new movement, sometimes God is removing people from your life. So you've seen all these snakes. God is removing the wrong people, letting you know that the people you thought you could trust don't trust those people because they don't mean the best for you. So he's going to remove them and make sure that the right people are part of your life. Warning. God is flagging a person or a door. Again, the season that you're in, it can be a warning season. He's flagging someone. This person, don't deal with them. That person, leave them alone. Or certain doors, maybe you're trying to move somewhere, you're trying to get a job somewhere, you're trying to start a relationship, you're trying to do something God is flagging and saying, do not do that. Or warfare, resistance against an assignment you just said yes to. So you're having snake dreams because something great is ahead of you. So now you're getting strategic resistance. It just seems like nothing is going in the direction that you thought it was going to go. Everything is falling apart. That's not for you to get discouraged, but that's for you to keep believing and keeping praying. And when it's neither a late meal and a hard week, not everything is a message. Sometimes you just have dreams. Sometimes you're just going you know, you just had a a rough day, and you're dreaming about that day. Maybe it had a huge impact on you. We interpret the dream and completely ignore the week we just had. What type of week did you have? Was it a stressful week? Was it a confusing week? Was it a painful week? Sometimes you can have a dream about that. Warning says look closer. Warfare says pray harder, and not every dream is either one. You have to be able to determine what that is. For God does speak now at one way, now another in a dream and a vision of the night. Now I want you to say this prayer with me. This is simple prayer. Father, thank you that you still speak even while I sleep. Show me plainly what this dream is and what it is not. Whether there's warning, give me eyes. Whether there's warfare, give me courage. I take authority in the name of Jesus. And tonight, I rest without fear. So here's what you leave tonight with. You can name the four questions.
