An Olympic Champion Was Ready to Give Up — Then God Changed Everything

Maybe you've given up hope in life. You've just given up because things have been so hard for you. Sometimes the only thing keeping you going is your belief that things will get better. Sometimes you're going through so much that all that you have is just your belief and just to have hope. There's a movie that's called Helen. It's a a documentary. She overcame so much odds, overcame difficulties. Matter of fact, she almost gave up. This film is produced by Chris Pratt. I'm so proud to have produced and to now be introducing this film, Helen Believe. Helen Marouille. I just wanna wake up, feel my body once again. Feel my body once again. I think I should just wrestle forever. Last Olympics, she got the gold medal around her neck. Just the way she did it, it's so underrated. And then she suffered an injury. So I haven't felt in the same sense. If you just put fear aside, the sky's the limit. It's gotta be one of biggest comebacks in the history of sports. She's raised the belief. She had said regular people can win the Olympics. It's inspiring. If I lose this, this is the end. Whatever the sacrifices I have to make, I'm not done yet. There was a point when she thought, I'm done. She refused to give up. Maybe you're at that point in your life and you felt like, you know what, I'm done. I can't do this anymore. I can't do life anymore. You're not alone. You're gonna overcome this because the Bible said greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Jesus said it is possible to those who believe. If you've ever been through anything in life, if you've ever been through challenges that made you just wanna give up, if you've ever been through something that stops you dead in your tracks, life is difficult. You're gonna face challenges. But the one thing that you're gonna realize is that you have to believe. The Bible says that we'll wrestle not against flesh and blood. So the battles that you're fighting, the challenges that you're facing, this is called spiritual warfare. There is something that God has destined for you. There is something that God has called you to do and the enemy would do anything to stop you from accomplishing those. Whatever method that works, he's gonna try to use that. And as you can see in this documentary, Helen went through so much. I don't think this is going to happen anymore. But Helen became the first American woman to win a gold medal in Olympics in wrestling. But without the Lord in my life, I have nothing. When you're facing opposition, when you're facing challenges, when you're facing hardship, this movie, Helen believes, it gives you the hope that you need to go on another day. Some times you get tired, sometimes you get frustrated, you get worried, you get concerned. It seems like you will never accomplish what you set out to do. But if you can just believe, if you can do nothing but just believe, I don't know what challenges that you're facing. I don't know what obstacles that you're facing. This right here is going to light that fire in you again. Achieve what you believe in. You're gonna face challenges in life. It's not gonna be all a bed of roses. But when you begin to face hard times, that is when you get back on your knees and say, God, I need help. Ask. God is going to send the right relationships in your life. People that believes in you when you don't believe in yourself. So I want you to go and watch this movie. It is going to transform your life.
