Yeah. Staying healthy is vital. You know, I usually walk at least two about two two to three miles a day. So today, I'm out here doing my regular walking. I hope that you are having a good day. You know, it's so important that you take care of your health. The older you get, the more you realize you really gotta take care of your health. So I made a thing where, usually, I'm walking I'm walking daily. And as I walk, you know, I've been learning more about your body, especially now that I'm over 40. You know, it's funny because when you're younger, you see people that they're in their forties and and fifties. As a kid, you're like, man, they're old. They're super old. But then you hit that 40, and you're like, man, I'm I guess I'm I'm in that range. You know? But it's such a blessing, you know, to be able to to walk in your own. I thank god that I could walk on my own, that I could could breathe on my own. I don't need any machines. I don't need any tubes. I don't need any assistance, you know, with my health, not on any medications, no pills, and that's just I thank God so much. But also, in addition to that, it's a decision that I made to stay healthy. I'm not a a sweets eater. So if I don't eat, like, sweets for a day, a week, or a month sometimes, it's not gonna, like, crush me. You know? I know some people like to eat their their sweets. You know? They just gotta have it every day. And, I mean, that's the that's the moderation. There's a balance for that. You know? There's definitely a balance for it. And I do enjoy sweets from time to time, but I usually just almonds, you know, pistachios, walnuts, lots of fruit. I just got a big watermelon of the day, but I might did not get in the house. I'm a cut it. I'm gonna put it in the fridge. But how's your health doing? You know? I've seen people that are in their fifties and sixties, and they could barely walk. They could barely walk, and they're having a hard time breathing. They gotta they gotta take five or six, sometimes 15 plus medication. There's this lady I was reading about, and she was saying how I think I was watching podcasts or something, but she had to take seventy three pills every day just to get through the day. And I can't even imagine how challenging that has to be because you need a pill for every function that you could perform on your own, and that pill is helping you to do this. It's helping you do that. You know? But your health is so so vital. You know? It's real it really is so vital. And there are times that I walked I walked for about ten hours straight, ten, twelve hours. I know that seemed like a long time to walk, but sometimes when you're going through things, one of the ways that I just kinda clear my head just think thinks through, go to the park. You know, just go to the park or just like what I'm doing right now, just go walking for a little while. And as I'm walking, sometimes I'm just praying. Other times, I'm just thinking, you know, different things through, planning for what's to come, what the agenda is, just just going through a lot of different processes in my head. And by the time that I'm done walking, I get home, and I'm able to relax, to think, and process what I've been processing, I've made so much progress that a thirty minute walk, you know, a one hour walk, a two hours walk, every set, my brain, my thinking, my discipline, my process, my motivation. It just resets a whole lot. So I don't know what you're doing for, you know, to stay healthy, you know, but definitely wanna get that health back in check. I do have some weights and stuff at home. I'm not the type to go, you know, to the gym and live with for hours. You know? I got some stuff at home that I could be able to use that, you know, to work out, to use that to get back. It's a little bit of resistance. You know, resistance helps with the muscle mass. I've been learning a little more about that. And it's like when you're when you're younger, muscle mass and all this resistance training, like, you don't really care much about that. It don't mean much to you when you're young. But as you get older, you're like, okay. I definitely gotta take care of this because if I don't, later on and I read it. I I saw this doctor a few days ago. I think it was yesterday. And he was just saying how I forget I don't know if it was dementia or something. Some brain problem that's connected to your legs. And he said they did a study of twins. One of them, I think, a long period of time, I don't know if it's, like, ten years or something like that. One of them, the twins, identical twins, one of them had, you know, really good legs, strong legs. They worked out, you know, and the other one didn't. And as they got older, they realized the twin that had had good legs had minor degradation or degradation, whatever, for the that stuff that affects their brain. So I was like, wow. Thank God that, you know, I walk a lot. And sometimes I'm, you know, doing stair climbs. Other times, you know, mostly just walking. So my legs are strong, and they've been that way for a long time. And I wanna I wanna keep it that way. I wanna stay healthy. I wanna keep going regardless what you're facing. You keep processing. You keep moving forward. You know, I realized that this world would try to knock you down. The world would try to take you out if you let it. So if you're a person that let every little thing get to you, if you're a person that get easily discouraged, you know, your mind the battle's in your mind. If you can be strong in your mind, you could accomplish a whole lot. And that's what you gotta do. If you can be strong in your mind where the battle is, the battlefield of your mind, if you can overcome that battle and still continue to push on, even those days when you feel like I can't do this anymore, even those days when you feel I'm worn out, I'm tired, if you can only just pray and say, God, give me the strength to make it through just today, just to make it through just today, I realized that, you know, sometimes it's good to have plans that you wanna do a week from now, a month from now, and possibly even a year from now, years from now. But sometimes as you go through those those plans, you you over you you get through so many challenges that I realized now that I'm like, Lord, just give me strength for it today. All I need all I need is just strength for the day. I'll deal with tomorrow when it comes because you are gonna face those those battles. You're gonna fight those battles, and the people that you're around matters a lot because the people that you surround yourself with determine the type of battles that you fight. So if you rob people that always complain, always got issues with everything, never sit positive about anything, that energy, that aura is going to be around you. And that's not the type of energy that you need. You don't need that. You need to be around people that, you know, you're going through stuff, but they won't let you stay there. You might be discouraged. You might get down, but they're not gonna let you stay there. They'll push you, and that's who that's who I surround myself with. That's who I wanna be connected to because that's just how I am. I know things get hard. I know life gets hard. I know uncertain things happen overnight that you didn't plan for and you didn't expect. But when those things happen, you gotta push, you gotta move, and you gotta keep it going. That's how you get get through it. And the more you do that, the stronger that you become. When you get in your knees, man, I'm telling you, prayer is what's gotten me where I am today. If I wasn't a praying man, man, only God knows where I'd be right now. If prayer wasn't a huge part of my life or my day, I don't know where I would be today. So I don't know what role prayer plays in your life. It's about to stop pouring in, shouting us a blessing. You know, as I talk about prayer, sometimes things happen that it's also based on your perspective. Right? As I'm walking right now, it's a little cloudy. It's about to pour down. I could have been like, oh my goodness. While it's about to rain, I can't stand the rain. I don't like the rain. Been negative. But I'm like, you know what? Shower's a blessing. If I get soaked, it's a blessing. It's just water. It'll dry off. And sometimes things happen and people complain. It's all about your perspective. All about your perspective. And sometimes god allows certain things to happen to us so we could refocus. He allows certain things to happen to us so we could oh, see, that go to rain. The showers are blessed. I'm literally, like, a block away from home. So, looks I'm a get it early early shower before I get in the house, but that's okay. Shower's a blessing. You know, as a kid, man, I used to go when it rained. I couldn't wait for the rain. I'd go outside, plan to park, plan, you know, in the rain, run around. Kids in the neighborhood would do do that. Not even caring. No care in the world. Man, those days are beautiful when I think about them. And I miss them. You know? God, they run I'm talking about heavy rain. You know, put your foot in a little, you know, potholes and puddles and, you know, get get your feet wet. And that's why I wear Crocs. I love Crocs because they are so comfortable and when it rains and I have to go out, I put the Crocs on. I don't like wearing socks. I put the Crocs on and if there's a little water that's flowing, I'll just put my feet. Just let it soak through there. But God is so amazing. I am so blessed. I am so grateful for life. You know, sometimes when you look at your life and you look at other people, you know, they have it worse than you do. They have it worse than you do. Perspective matters a lot. Perspective matters a whole lot. The beautiful rain is raining. It's raining. Oh, thank you, Lord, that I can you know, it's one thing too is there are people that they can't if water touches their skin, it burns them. Water burns their skin. So to be able to have water that's touching my skin and it feels great, Man, I am so grateful. I'm like, Lord, thank you that water doesn't burn me, that I'm okay. I am so grateful that water is a blessing to me. Water is a blessing to me. It's not as heavy y'all. That's not as heavy. Could have been pouring out, but it's not as heavy. But make up your mind that regardless of what you go through, you're gonna just thank god, be grateful, have gratitude. Always be grateful. I know it gets hard sometimes. I know it gets rough, but complaining has never solved the problem, and it never ever will solve a problem. Your perspective just has to change. Your mindset just gotta change. So I'm walking out walking through the alley. One of the things, you know, living out in PA, you know, I'm not used to alleys like these. In Jersey, we don't really have, you know, alleys like these. But out here, that's what you see a lot. Little street corners. You can walk in the back, You know, take a walk around the neighborhood, and I've been walking out for over one hour. Oh, so the brain has slowed down a little bit. Get in the house. I get a second shower. You know, I grab something to eat because I think I don't burn enough calorie calories already. I don't burn enough calories already. I have this calorie app that tells me how many calories did I burn. I think I'm, like, 400 and something right now from what it was telling me. I usually my targeted goal sometimes like I said, I walk about, you know, two miles a day. You know? And and that's usually a couple hours, you know, usually more. But the rain, oh, man. Oh, lord. I thank you for this day. Thank you for this day. I hope that you have a wonderful day today. I hope that whatever is going on in your life, I hope that you stay encouraged. I hope you stay positive, and trust god for strength. He'll give it to you. You know, sometimes when I see people swimming pool, I'm like, what if I just go jump in that pool? What if I just go I just go I don't know who they are, but what if I just go diving? What what they gonna do? What they gonna do? And and I'm walking sometimes outside, and I see, you know, the the the heat. You know, sometimes it's, like, 90 degrees, a 100 degrees. I'm like, man, I need to I just need to dive in that pool. So it's coming up in the alley. Oh, well, this has been a fun walk. Almost hour and fifteen minutes walking. My heart rate is up, and I am thankful that I can walk on my own. I'm thirsty, though. Grab something to drink. Well, I'm home now, so make today the best day of your life. And I thank God. Thank you, Lord, for this day. That is a blessing.
