Crush Your Business Giants (The David Strategy)

David then faced Goliath with a business plan. He used biblical strategies that worked for giants in any arena, the fear crushing your entrepreneur dreams. See, there's seven strategies from scripture that I wanna share with you that have been tested. Maybe you're going through a season right now where you feel like, you know, you're you're struggling and you're facing giants in your business. These seven strategies, they're going to help you to overcome them. Strategy number one, remember past victories. When you are going forward, you have to remember that you're gonna face obstacles. You're gonna face challenges. You're gonna face the haters. But you have to be able to take a look at what you've you've succeeded at before you, became successful at. So if you succeeded at something, you gotta go back and see, you know what? That was a small victory, but it was a victory. Create a victory journal of every time God came through for you. You know, I was going through, a really challenging time one time where my truck, my business car transmission just broke. And when I went to my warranty had just expired like like less than two two weeks before that. Right? Two or three weeks or so. So now they cover the whole expense. And I was like, oh my goodness, God. This is and it was a large bill. I'm talking about almost $8. And I'm like, God, this is an expected bill. But I was able to stick with the Lord and God gave me strategies. God gave me victory and I was able to to, you know, get my truck back to pay for it. And that was that was nothing but God. And anytime that I face obstacles, when I look at what God brought me through, I'm like, Lord, that was no one but you. When fear arises, read your testimonies of God's faithfulness. When I'm afraid, I go back and I look at what the Lord did for other people and even more so I look what God, you know, did for me. When I gave up hope, when you gave up hope, you gotta go back go go back to your journal. Look at the times that God came through for you. Remember the times that it was so difficult that you thought this was impossible. This could never happen. But God came through for you. This is going to build your faith so that whatever current challenges that you face, you're going to be more encouraged and you're going to be more likely to just keep going because life is gonna wanna knock you down. Life is going to knock you down and sometimes you gotta get back up again. Strategy number two, focus on God's reputation not your own. K? David said this this to Goliath, you come against me with sword and spear, but I come against you in the name of the Lord. Don't focus on your abilities. Now it's good for you to have the skill set, It's good for you to have the the knowledge. It's good for you to have all those things, but you will find out that there are times in your life, in your business that it is going to surpass you and you need the help of the Lord. Make your business about advancing God's kingdom, not building your ego. Don't wanna make money for the sake of just make money or don't wanna be successful just to show up or look at me, I'm successful. Let your your your passion and your desire be to advance God's kingdom. When the pressure is about God's glory, fear loses power over you. When you put the focus on God for your business, when you give everything back to God, fear has no grip on you because now you're saying, God, this business idea that you gave me, I can't accomplish this by myself. I need divine intervention. People are more willing to support a kingdom vision more than a personal agenda. So if you want people to support your business, it has to have a kingdom agenda with it, not just on personal, agenda that you wanna accomplish something. Number three, speak faith over your situation. Jesus said we can speak to the mountains and they will move. There have been times that I've been afraid about something. I've been concerned about something. I've been worried about something. You know what I do? I don't speak what I say. I speak what the word of God says. So I I want you to find scriptures, find verses that pertains to whatever challenges or obstacle that you're facing in your business and you speak over that. I'm telling you, your words are life. They would transform your business overnight. I've seen that. It's incredible. You gotta do it. If you haven't done it before, you have to do that right now. Stop speaking your fears and start declaring God's promises over your business. My business is blessed. I have divine favor with customers. I have divine favor with investment. I have the right opportunities to be presented to me today. I'm connected with the right partners. I have access to unlimited resources. You need to speak that in the atmosphere. Don't just think it. Because when you begin to speak, the bible said that there are angels that are waiting. There as you begin to speak, my business is blessed and will prosper. An angel grabs that word, finds a connection that you desperately need for your business and link you up with someone. When you begin to say, have divine favor with customers, all of a sudden, customers start to find you from nowhere. Well, they're not finding you from nowhere because God orchestrated that. So speak those words. Your words create the atmosphere for breakthrough or breakdown. So based on what you're going through, you can keep speaking negative to breakdown or you can speak life. You can speak life. The future is as bright. My life is great. All things are working out for my good to get your breakthrough. Strategy number four, worship your way through. Look at second Chronicles twenty twenty one through 22. Jehoshaphat put the worship team in front of the arm and now I want you to go back and read this story. That when they came up against Jehoshaphat, the king of Israel, he didn't go with, you know, he he didn't just go in. He went with worship. He went with saying, Lord, I know that you are mighty. I'm facing this obstacle in my business, but God, I am going to face this giants in my business with worship. I'm going to face the giants in this business with praise. I am going to go in this business meeting with worship. Listen, there are times when I go in a business meeting and I'm just in a worship mood. I put some songs before. Right? And I'm just in the worship when I'm just praying in the spirit and I'm just talking to the Lord and the atmosphere begin to change. When you worship, God fight your battles. God will fight your business battles when you begin to worship. He will fight them for you. That deal that you've been trying to get, when you begin to worship, God will unlock those doors. The partners that you've been trying to get, the customers you've been trying to reach, I'm telling you, when you begin to worship, start your work day with worship to set the spiritual tone. When you wake up in the morning, before you even get to work, take even if it's just five minutes. That's what I do. I just put some songs on or I just go in a quiet place and I say, I give you my business. Lord, I give you my ideas. Lord, I pray that today you're going to connect me with the right people and you begin to watch how worship can shift your focus from problems to the problem solver. Strategy number five, seek wise counsel. Iron sharpens iron. Surround yourself with other Christian believers that are entrepreneurs. Right? They have the same principles as you. They have the same passion as you. They go in the same direction as you. The last thing that you need as a business owner, entrepreneur, especially a a kingdom entrepreneur is you're going through something and you surround yourself with people that do nothing but just they see a problem in every solution. You don't need that. Find a mentor who's built something that you you're trying to build. Someone that's where you wanna go. Right? And you get that encouragement from them. You get that counsel from them. Sometimes, you may never get to meet that mentor in person, but you can learn from their videos, from their podcast, from their books, and other resources. They can mentor you that way. And join a Christian business mastermind or or accountability. I just launched a new platform called prelim. You can go there and you can connect with other entrepreneurs and business owners that want to get to that next level. Isolation amplifies fear. Community brings clarity and courage. There are times when you are so down, you're so discouraged, you don't feel like you can go on another day. But if you can just get in the community with other believers that entrepreneurs have the same mindset, your life will never be the same. Alright. Strategy number six, move forward with partial information. Abraham went out not knowing where he was going. I believe that as long as you have a connection with God, when God gives you divine strategy for your business, you may not have 100% of it. There are times when you have to move on 50. Man, forgive 50. There are times you gotta move on 10% of it and then lift the other 90 up to God. God has speak to you. God rarely shows you the whole plan, just the next step. He's not gonna tell you that, you know what, in two years you're gonna go through this. He's not gonna give you every single detail because I don't know about you. If God were to give me every single the whole game plan from start to finish, I would sometimes wanna choose a different path. Just being honest. So God is not gonna give you the entire game plan. He'll show you this. He'll show you that. But you gotta be able to see, you know what? God, I'm ready. Let's get to the next step. Perfect information is the enemy of progress. You can't get everything. You get a little bit here, a little bit there, and it's like this puzzle. You put in the different pieces together, not by yourself, but you're relying on God. So as you're launching that business, you don't know where this is gonna come from. You don't know how that's gonna happen. God is going to give you one piece. The well, the first thing you gotta do is make a decision that you wanna start a business. Then the next thing you gotta do is research that industry. Then you gotta be able to take a look at the licenses that you need. What type of do you need certifications for that business? You gotta look at what all the different aspect. You get it little by little piece by piece. Take the steps you can see and God will illuminate the next one. This is so vital. When God is directing directing your path, take the steps that you can see that is clear before you. Don't worry about the steps that you cannot see. God is going to shine the light and illuminate the ones that you cannot see. Step I mean, number seven, prepare spiritually before you act. Ephesians six talks about the armor of God, also talks about you rest not against flesh and blood. There are certain battles in your business that are not physical battles. Business is is spiritual. Money is spiritual. Success is spiritual. Failure is spiritual. So in order for you whether you succeed or fail, it is based on your understanding that you gotta be prepared. You gotta be prepared. You put on the whole armor of God before making major business decisions. Did you consult God about the last decision you made for your business or did you just go based on your feelings? Now there are times when the data can tell you one thing. Right? The analytics can tell you one thing, but you go back to God and say, okay, you have the final say about this next thing that I do. What are you saying? Pray for protection, wisdom, and divine connections. When you're doing business, especially as a Christian entrepreneur, the enemy don't want you to succeed because he knows that when you succeed, you're gonna transform lives, you're gonna help other business owners. So he is going to do everything he can to destroy you and he will usually go to your family. If he can destroy you directly, he'll find those that you care about in your family. Maybe you work on on a deal. He'll try to sabotage that. Whatever it is, you gotta be ready. Pray for wisdom and divine connections. I I believe that there are certain individuals that God wants to connect your business to. There are certain companies that God wants to divinely connect you with, but you gotta be prepared. Fast when facing major transitions or decisions. I don't think a lot of Christian and kingdom entrepreneurs do this enough. You have to make a major decision. You're going through a transition. What do you do? You just make it. You just think through it. Some decisions you can't just think through them because they're so spiritual, you need to go in the spiritual realm and to be able to breakthrough, to be able to get divine wisdom before you make that decision. Spiritual preparation prevents natural devastation. Sometimes you're devastated, your losses, the unnecessary battles that you're fighting this, you were never spiritually prepared. But God want you to be prepared. So whatever's challenges facing your business, when you go in the name of the Lord and you understand that you gotta put in the armor of God for your business, things will never be the same.
