How Entrepreneurial Fear Destroys Kingdom Businesses (And What to Do)

You know, there's a silent killer destroying kingdom businesses faster than competition or even market changes. And it's not what you think. You know, it's it's fear that is masquerade as, you know, wisdom, caution, and being responsible. But I wanna be able to help to expose exactly how fear sabotages your God given assignment and the three step strategy to stop it immediately. So the first thing is this. Okay? This is how you destroy so this is how fear destroy kingdom impact. Number one, fear disguised as wisdom. You know, sometimes we call procrastination is, oh, we're just waiting on the Lord. When God has already given you clear instructions on what to do. What else what else are you waiting for? You just wait, you know, another day, maybe another week. But God is saying this is procrastination and this is what is slowing your business down. That's why you're not getting the advancement that you've been praying for or that you've been hoping for your business. You know, we we label fear based decisions as being wise with resources. God has given you the resources that you need, especially in today's day and age where resources if you really wanna get the resources, they are available to you. But again, we procrastinate, you know, we have excuses, but God is saying no. It's time to move. You know, true wisdom takes calculated risks based on God's promises. Let me say that again, calculated risk. God is a a God of wisdom. God will never tell you to do something without giving you wisdom and a strategy for that. That is not how God operates. So before you do anything, don't just move based on your feelings. Now there's a role that your feelings have in business, but you need divine wisdom and divine strategy. Proverbs three five says this, trust in the Lord with what all your heart and lean not onto your own understanding. In all your ways in all your ways acknowledge him. So you have to learn how to acknowledge God. Number two, fear limits your obedience to God's calling. Fear makes us negotiate with God's instructions and settle for smaller visions. We are like, you know what God? I know you want me to accomplish all this. I know that you have something great for me, but I'm kind of afraid right now. I don't wanna go that route. You know? It's just, you know, the unknown uncertainties, and I'm not really sure. Can we just and then you negotiate, and then you end up just living a mediocre life. You don't do what God has called you to do. When we operate in fear, we rob others of the solutions God wants to provide through us. There is a specific solution that God want to provide through you, but you have to step out of your comfort zone. Hebrews eleven eleven six says this, without faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith, fear create a poverty mindset. Fear convinces us there's not enough resources, customers, or opportunities. There are business owners rather. Maybe you're watching this and you're saying, man, I don't think that I have enough customers. I don't think that I have enough resources. I don't think there's enough opportunities for me. That is one of the things that fear does. It makes you think that it actually makes you to believe that. And if you can believe that there's no customers, there's no resource, there's no opportunities, guess what? You won't pursue anything. This mindset leads to hoarding instead of sowing and generously giving. When you have this fair mindset, right, this poverty mindset, you wanna be able just to hoard and keep everything that you you you get. So whatever whatever finances that God blesses you within your business, guess what? You're keeping it Because you're so afraid that you, you know, instead instead of you sowing and invest in it, you're holding on to it. Right? A seed will never grow that you hold on to. Because someone used used this example. Right? If you close your fist, guess what? Nothing can go out, nothing can come in. Kingdom businesses are designed to be rivers, not reservoirs. They're meant to just flow. God wants to flow through your business. God wants to flow through open doors for you. There is opportunities that is left on tap that God wants to connect you with. Luke six thirty, it says, give and it will be given to you a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and what running over. And what that mean is that you have to be willing to give. I look at that from a perspective of being an investor. As a business owner, you have to invest. It's not about your feelings. It's not about your emotions. You have to be able to look at the data, look at the market, pray to ask God and ask God to give you wisdom, you get a strategy, and then you have to be willing to invest. So here are the three steps that will help you to stop fear. Number one, recognize fear's voice versus God's voice. Fear actually sounds like a person. But see, the way that you can tell the difference between fear the voice of fear and the voice of God is right here. The word of God. You spend time in there. Here's fear's voice. What if you fail? What would people think? You're not you're not qualified enough. You don't have enough skills. You don't have enough to contact. You don't know the right people. You know, you're not good enough. That is what fear speaks into you. Here's what God's voice sounds like. I have equipped you. I will be with you. Step forward in faith. Goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. Doors of opportunities are open for your eye has not seen what God has in store for you. Fear creates confusion. God's bring God bring clarity and peace. When facing a decision, ask yourself this. Is this voice producing faith or is it producing fear? And if it's producing fear, then you gotta combat that with the word of God. Number two, renew your mind with kingdom truth or the word of God. Replace every fearful thought with a biblical truth about your identity and your calling. I always tell people this, go back to the word of God. Read biographies of successful Christian entrepreneurs who overcame fear. You know, one of the things that I love is I love to learn about other successful people, Christian entrepreneurs. What they overcame and most of them overcame it because they went back to the word of God. They depended solely on the Lord. Meditate on scripture daily about God's faithfulness to prove, to provide, and prosper his people. So God definitely want you, to be able to prosper. So Romans twelve and two says, do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind. It's all about in your mind. The mindset matters. Number three, take immediate faith action. Every time that I learn something new, I take action on it. I don't wait the day after, you know, weeks later. If I learn something new today, within the next five to ten minutes, I usually find some way to apply, you know, right away. Because then I can see if that's going to work. If if it's not gonna work, then I can always adjust. Every time you recognize fear, immediately take one action step forward. So when you recognize there's something that's paralyzing you, something is making you afraid, combat that with the word of God and and, you know, do something to move forward. Right? Maybe you wanna start a business and you're saying, man, I don't have the capital. I don't have the connection. Well, you can you can listen to podcast. You can learn, watch, tutorials. You can learn why you're working on other parts of your business. Don't just sit there and say, oh, nothing is working for me. You know, I have this sad feeling, all this dreary down. That is not going to solve anything. Document your victories to build a testimony of faithful of of God's faithfulness. Document it. Write it down. You know, I got a notebook, pen, paper. I document God has done. You know, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans ten and seventeen. You again, it goes back to your mindset.
